I don't think this would take as long as you fear! While it is definitely a big task, it could definitely be done providing you are fairly quick at progressing. If you do it on a high level character then it would definitely be doable - do keep us updated with your progress, I'd be interested in reading about your journey!

If you go, without Heirlooms and quest the content for your level bracket, all the way to and with Legion, doing ALL quests on all continents/zones available for... say Horde... How long do you think it would take?
I'm asking because I have in mind to quest everything and anything I can, but also I am a tad "overwhelmed" and fear a bit that I wouldn't be able to do it before BFA, where I would like to be ready for the new exp :P
