Hello, a friend wants to play WoW and I know he needs to buy the whole game all expansion etc. It includes 30 days game time but it says it requires subscription. Now my question is if he pays a sub for a month and he buys WoW package for BFA will the sub and 30 days free game time run at the same time or one after the other. In other words is a sub waste of money in that case or not?

The free month included with the base game would be used first, and then the subscription would be billed and become active once those free days have been used.
