I am probably about 5 years to late to this party but i have just read this very moving story about Mats ‘Ibelin’ Steen on the BBC news website and I thought that amongst the bickering of GD it would be nice to be reminded that whatever else, WoW unites us more than it divides us.

In our day-to-day routines it can be easy to overlook the positive ways in which World of Warcraft brings together people of many walks of life from all over the globe - and the lasting bonds of friendship (and sometimes even more) it can form.
