I am Teldrassius, Guardian of Cenarius. I am a druid.

I have an inner calling that beckons me to specialize into Balancing the ancient art of Nature and Arcane. However I have never fulfilled this calling, because for some reason, this school of magic is useless unless YOU TURN YOURSELF INTO A GIANT WALKING TALKING OWLCHICKEN THAT MAKES NOISES LIKE OOOEEEUUAAGGUHH. Please, I was not born into a beautiful night elf to spend my waking hours in the form of a moonkinowlbeast. I understand many of you other races like the appearance of the moonkin (mostly taurens and trolls...), but please... Allow us to master Balance without being condemned to the chicken-owlbeast. As the wise worgen below pointed out, show me one example of Malfurion Stormrage as a moonkin? There is none.

So I pray to you, Gods of Azeroth, allow us druids the choice of remaining in caster form as a Balance druid. (via glyph or similar)

EDIT: In all seriousness, moonkin isn't ridiculous, it adds something to the class. But personally for me, and for many others, it is enough to make us keep away from balance entirely, even though we far prefer the play-style of balance to feral. I'm just proposing the choice of caster-form or moonkin form.

It was inevitable that I would post here.

First of all, the arguement 'DATS HOW A DURID WORKS, DURID SHAPESHIFT DONT LIKE IT DONT PLAY IT' is dumb and simply invalid, the Druid class uses a different mechanic than the other caster classes, sadly they are restricted to an awful form, when have you ever seen Malfurion as a moonkin? Where in the lore do we actually READ about Druids shapeshifting into fat owls? Druids don't NEED the moonkin form.

Second, the arguement 'CANT IDENTIFY MY ENEMY' is also invalid, as it's rather easy to tell their specialization from the buffs they have on them.

What many of you don't get, is that we are suggesting a minor GLYPH, we aren't suggesting an entire removal of the form or to turn it into a CD, so my advice to you is; read for once and you might understand the topic better and not make yourself look like a fool.
