Ban people for mentioning vanilla / TBC
I was just thinking about this today, and wanted to bring up this idea so that hopefully a blue will read it and hear me out.

Basically I am so sick of rose-tinted glasses trolls bashing the current game and talking about how great vanilla / TBC were. The people who played during that time are too obsessed and ruin the game for current players. I've seen vanilla / TBC glorifies berate people in trade if they find out someone didn't play back then, with mean-spirited nicknames like "wrath baby" or "cata baby". I propose Blizzard take action and start banning people for mentioning vanilla or TBC-- they only bring up the past to bash the current game anyway, which lowers overall morale, so they should be banned for trolling.

My second idea is a bit more ambitious, but I just thought I'd throw it out there anyway in hopes that a designer may read this and implement it. Well, with Warlords of Draenor coming out soon and altering the timeline of WoW, could it be possible that we accidentally mess up the past and cause vanilla and TBC to be erased from history? It would make sense in the story, and also get the rose-tinted glasses wearers to shut up. Take away their old achievements too so they can't use them to brag.

Either that, or go back and remake both vanilla and TBC but with LFR versions of all the raids and making the dungeons and leveling process a bit easier.

I know some of these solutions may be drastic, but if that's what it will take to get these people to see the light, then that's what needs to be done.

The game is so much better nowadays with LFR and the beautiful continent of Pandaria. We need to get this done, Blizzard.

Thank you.

Ban people for mentioning vanilla / TBC
I'm not sure it should be our job to dictate how people reflect on the past. Vanilla and TBC happened and good times were had. The beauty of this game is that, nine years later, good times are still being had. :)
