Agreed.
We just flagged all lane NPCs to never evade.

I realize there are many details here, and different mobs/guards/whatever interact with players in various ways, but really the effort required to defeat a mob without having it reset is pretty significant. This seems sub-optimal, and frankly is annoying as hell.

Right, they won't obey the "No Evade" functionality until a later build on the PTR.
