I'll talk to the esports team about the potential for this for the Arena forums, however I wouldn't want to do this in the General Discussion as it doesn't specifically pertain to Arena or even PvP exclusively. We don't promote the MDI in General Discussion either because of this same philosophy.

I think it being in game isn't a great solution and sets a strange precedent especially for the vast majority that don't participate in Arenas as a whole. We typically only put things on the in game calendar that players can actually go and participate in or there's at least an in game component.

This would be incredibly spammy and annoying for players that don't care about this type of content. The in game broadcast is typically reserved for emergency notification purposes.

I would suspect it's probably due to a character limit but I'm not certain. To be honest there's so many TLA's I too have had a hard time remembering what some of them stand for.
05/13/2018 01:26 PMPosted by Fox5-A. Give the arena tournament the priority on the Launcher. Heroes of the dorm getting priority is just silly. You could also use the light up glow that you had for i think overwatch? To emphasize that it's going on.
5-B. When you click the link, have it take you directly to twitch. Don't have it take you to a web page, then have the link to it at the VERY bottom, in a very very small "Twitch" blue link.
There's definitely some great points in this. As for priority typically if it was for shared space I would expect Heroes of the Dorm to get priority over a WoW tournament because Dorm occurs once a year and typically has a higher viewership, however this is strictly talking about a shared place on the launcher.
05/13/2018 01:26 PMPosted by Fox6. Add a mention of the Arena Tournament going on in the arena tab where you queue up for arenas, as this is going to draw attention to it by the people most interested in it.
I imagine this would be a UI limitation currently. It's likely one of those things where it's the balance of time working on it versus the other projects on the table.
