PVP scaling catastrophically broken
The current PVP scaling is not only catastrophically broken but it is corrupted and being abused. In no setting especially in a PVP setting should a level 110 to 115 actively target and attack a level 120. Once engaged in combat the 110 is almost an equal standing with the 120 even doing considerable damage to him or her this is not only broken system but whole the point of the scaling was to protect lower level players while they quested not give them free pass to attack capped level people no punitive damage. if this was case what was the point of having us level to 120 why not keep the cap at 110... If you are going to have 110's as aggressors and not defenders then the system is being abused this needs to end. I suggest keeping the altering the system and adding debuff for players 110s who gank a level 120 that removes the scaling in their favor or removing scaling all together.

I do not seek and attack players who lower levels then me nor I am advocating ganking lowbies but if Blizzard place a defensive tool for leveling characters it should be used in a defensive manner not in an offensive manner.

Level 120 Alliance and Horde have respect for each especially when it comes to PVP combat this is cheapen when you have level 110's abusing the PVP scaling system.

I suggest everyone open a ticket under suggestion option and tell Blizzard to fix the catastrophically broken PVP scaling system that is being abused.

PVP scaling catastrophically broken
Quick update --

We're preparing a hotfix to go live soon which will widen the power gap a bit between players between 110 to 120. This means that, for example, a 120 will be stronger against a 115 after the hotfix than they are on live today.

Regarding lower level players being stronger at a lower level than they would be at max level, we haven't found that to be the case. (Though to be fair, that was regretfully the case in some situations in beta and on live because of bugs.)

In the case of Venruki, we loaded both characters internally and tested the scenario (exact spell sequences, etc.) with his Druid opponent at max level with gear the same iLevel as his Mage. Venruki would still of lost in that scenario if the Druid was at the same level and iLevel as him, so it is not a scaling issue between players of different levels but perhaps something else (1v1 class balance, item choices, etc.).

Actually, the PvP scaling changes are now live. We'll continue to monitor things and make changes where necessary. Thanks everyone.
